A movie is invariably characterised by music scores that are termed film scores. A film score is different from movie soundtracks in a lot of ways. A movie track denotes the various songs and other long music productions that the movie contains. A film score is all about the music involved in the movie that includes the most prominent background score. Most film scores are produced by instruments while some of them are generated by voice. So, when did this concept evolve into the film industry? Well, the answer is May, 1908. It was during this month that Camille produced the first movie score. Strangely, it was not a great hit as people saw that as a breakdown in the movie’s scene sequence. This acted as a gateway to the rest of the composers as they came up with attractive scores. German Cinema, known for silent movies, came up with some splendid movie scores that attracted people. Metropolis was one of the best original scores that is still an epitome of film scores. Recent innovations in this field have taken cinemas to another level that is incomparable to the previous era. However, the month of May will always be remembered for giving a new dimension to movies!!!
